2025 USDSSA Officer Elections Announcement

The United States Deaf Ski & Snowboard Association (USDSSA) is excited to announce the upcoming Board Officer Elections during Deaf Winterfest Breckenridge 2025. This election will determine the next leadership team responsible for guiding USDSSA into the future.

Open Positions

We are electing four officer positions, to serve for three (3) years term:

  • President: Leads and facilitates board meetings, oversees the organization’s operations, and directs fundraising initiatives to support the mission of the USDSSA.
  • Vice-President: Assumes the responsibilities of the President in their absence or in the event the position becomes vacant. Additionally, the Vice-President leads outreach efforts and oversees the Membership Program. The Vice President also provides support to the Snow-sport Directors and athletes within the USDSSA.
  • Secretary: Maintains accurate records of meetings, manages official correspondence, and handles the organization’s social media presence, including engaging with the community through comments and responses.
  • Treasurer: Oversees the organization’s financial management, including budgeting, collection of dues, and preparation of financial reports. The Treasurer also manages all funds and fundraising activities related to USDSSA athletes.

In a small organization like USDSSA, these roles may overlap, with officers taking the lead on specific projects or committees to ensure the fulfillment of the organization’s objectives.
